In my 35+ year career in optometry, I have dedicated myself to helping people see and perceive the world more clearly. After earning my Master of Science in Clinical Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in the USA, I gained extensive expertise in binocular vision correction, digital fundus examination and behavioral optometry.

Over the past two decades, I have focused on holistic cognitive enhancement through functional optometry and neurostimulation, working closely with ophthalmologists throughout Switzerland.

I support my patients with individually tailored vision training and neurostimulation programs that maintain the balance of the autonomic nervous system and improve visual and auditory processing.

Previously, as CEO and owner of Wegmüller Optik AG in Huttwil, I pioneered the introduction of computerized tomographic screening for glaucoma and macular degeneration and acted as the primary eye care provider in terms of early detection and timely referral to an ophthalmologist.

I am passionate about helping people of all ages optimize their vision and improve their quality of life in a sustainable way. I use a personalized approach that includes optometry, vision training and neurostimulation to look at the person as a whole. Because optimal perception is the basis for general well-being and quality of life.
