Welcome to probably the smallest optician’s shop in Winterthur — and at the same time to the tallest master optician in the city (2 meters tall)!

My name is Björn Matthäi. In 2001, I completed my training as a certified optician. I then went on to complete advanced studies as a certified master optician in Munich. Since 2007, I have been running the optometry store winti vision in the heart of Winterthur’s old town.

In the meantime, I also completed a postgraduate Master of Science in Vision Science and Business (Optometry) at the university in Aalen (Germany), in cooperation with Pacific University in Portland (Oregon, USA) and the New England College of Optometry in Boston (Massachusetts, USA).

I decided very early on to open my own optician’s shop and I am convinced that I can always offer my customers the best possible solution. Of course, the best solution does not have to be the most expensive.

Professional and thorough advice is my highest priority — whether you buy something or not.
