Gynecology and obstetrics focuses on women’s health throughout all stages of life, as well as care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. The specialty includes, among other things, preventive examinations, the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions, counseling on contraception and family planning, and prenatal care.

Dr. Michail Tziolas is a resident in obstetrics and gynecology and provides care for patients with various gynecological concerns. He completed his medical training at the School of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He then worked in rural healthcare with a focus on general medicine and emergency care before beginning his specialty training in gynecology and obstetrics in Greece and later continuing it in Switzerland.

Dr. Tziolas has been working as a resident in gynecology and obstetrics at gynpoint Zurich since 2026. In addition to his clinical work, he completed a master’s program in the application of endoscopic surgical techniques in gynecology. This allowed him to deepen his knowledge in the field of minimally invasive gynecological procedures.
