Dipl. med. Kathrin Erkert 

I was born and grew up in northern Germany. After several positions in southern Germany, most recently in Constance, I have been living with my family in Thurgau since 2005.

My special professional interest has been in pediatric and adolescent gynecology for many years now.

Professional training

• Studied human medicine in Berlin
• Training as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in Bad Urach, Herrenberg and Constance
• Practiced in Constance until 2022
• Worked for many years as a doctor in the mobile blood donation service at Münsterlingen Cantonal Hospital
• Gynaecologist in own practice since 2011, initially in Weinfelden, since 2019 also in Bischofszell

Pediatric and adolescent gynaecology training

• Regular internships at Zurich Children's Hospital
• Visiting doctor at the Semmelweis University Hospital in Budapest, Hungary
• Collaboration in the special consultation hours of the pediatric practice of Drs. Maija and Wolfgang Gempp; Constance
• Establishment of own special consultation hours at the gynecological practice Dr. Gesenhues, Constance

• Board member of Gynea (Swiss Association for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology)
• Working group for pediatric and adolescent gynecology in Germany, Swiss Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (SGGG)
