Dr. med. univ. Robert Weiterschan 

Born in Salzburg (Austria), he completed his studies in human medicine in Innsbruck in Tyrol. After completing his training as a general practitioner and as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in 2005, his medical career as a gynecologist took him from the Rosenheim Clinic in Bavaria through Austria and Germany. He worked in clinics with a focus on cancer treatment (surgical/conservative), prolapse problems and extended care until he finally spent a year as a Senior Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the wonderful Southland of New Zealand in 2010. In 2016 he came to Switzerland where, after working as a Senior Consultant, he was most recently Co-Chief Physician at a regional hospital. Dr. Weiterschan has been with Arzthaus since February 2023.

The entire spectrum of gynecology can be offered, from annual check-ups, questions about various forms of contraception, fears or uncertainties about hormones to pregnancy care. A trusting relationship with his patients, their well-being and women's empowerment during all stages of life are particularly important to him. His main focus is on supporting pregnancies, treating complaints during menopause and involuntary loss of urine, as well as providing a neutral second opinion on planned operations or other issues.
