Dr. Stéphanie Friszer is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, with particular expertise in fetal medicine, obstetrical ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. She assists patients with pregnancy monitoring, fetomaternal assessment and management of complex obstetrical situations requiring specialized expertise.
A graduate of the Cochin Port-Royal Faculty of Medicine in Paris, she trained in gynecology-obstetrics in the Île-de-France region, before specializing in fetal medicine and obstetric ultrasound at Hôpital Armand-Trousseau in Paris. There, she developed in-depth experience in prenatal screening, management of high-risk pregnancies, assessment of complex fetal malformations and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures.
His clinical activities are accompanied by a strong commitment to research and teaching. She holds several specialized university degrees in fetal medicine and gynecological and obstetrical imaging, and has participated in multi-center research projects and contributed to several international scientific publications, notably in the fields of fetal brain imaging, developmental abnormalities and fetal surgery.
Since 2022, Dr. Friszer has been working at the Ensemble hospitalier de la Côte (EHC). After initially working in general gynecology at the Aubonne Medical Center, she helped develop the Maternal-Fetal Ultrasound Unit at Morges Hospital, created with Dr. Sylvie Rouiller. Here, she provides specialized obstetric ultrasound consultations, prenatal diagnosis and follow-up of pregnancies requiring enhanced monitoring.
Her approach combines medical rigor, attentive listening and close collaboration with referring gynecologists, obstetric teams and partners in the French-speaking Switzerland perinatal network, to support patients and their families throughout the entire care process.
