About me

Welcome to Seeblick Medical Practice! My name is Denis Faoro, and together with my dedicated team, I am delighted by your interest in our practice.

Before opening our practice, I worked as Deputy Chief Physician at Wetzikon Hospital, where I specialized in the treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian findings, uterine anomalies, incontinence, and pelvic floor prolapse.

Although I specialize in minimally invasive surgical techniques, providing care and support to women during pregnancy and childbirth is particularly close to my heart. With my many years of experience, I strive to offer safe obstetric care that always respects the wishes of my patients.

It is a great pleasure for me to lead Arztpraxis Seeblick in Meilen together with Ms. Beck and to provide our patients with excellent medical care.

Career

I studied medicine at the University of Zurich from 2005 to 2011, completing my dissertation in pediatric neuro-oncology under Prof. Dr. med. Grotzer at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich. I then began my medical career as a surgical resident at Triemli City Hospital Zurich and Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen before switching to the field of gynecology and obstetrics.

After positions as a resident at the women’s clinics of Cantonal Hospital Aarau and GZO Wetzikon Hospital, I was promoted to Senior Physician at Cantonal Hospital Aarau in 2019. Further senior positions followed at Inselspital Bern and Triemli City Hospital. At the end of 2022, I returned to the women’s clinic at GZO Wetzikon Hospital as Deputy Chief Physician.

Alongside my clinical work, I specialized in minimally invasive gynecological surgical techniques. In 2018, I obtained certification as a Minimal Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon and specialist recognition in gynecology and obstetrics. In 2022, I received the subspecialty title in Operative Gynecology and Obstetrics. Since 2020, I have also been involved in preparing examination questions for specialist exams and have been Chief Mentor for GESEA courses at sitem-insel Bern since 2022.

In addition to my medical career, I completed an Executive MBA in Medical Management at PHW Bern in 2022. My master’s thesis focused on process optimization of outpatient surgeries. In the same year, I founded med-i-co medical insights consulting AG and the GESEA Swiss association. In 2023, I deepened my expertise by attending the European Endometriosis Masterclass and obtaining the certificate of competence in pregnancy ultrasound.

With the opening of Seeblick Medical Practice in Meilen, I bring my extensive experience to provide my patients with modern, empathetic, and individually tailored care.
