Dr. med. Bernadette Rietschi 

I was born and raised in the Chur Rhine Valley. I studied medicine at the universities of Fribourg and Bern and obtained my federal medical degree in 1991. In 1995, I earned my doctorate in human medicine. I completed my residency years in the surgical department of Kreuz Hospital in Chur, at the Cantonal Hospital of Grabs, and in the women’s clinic of the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen, where I worked in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics.

From 1996 to 2000, I worked as a senior physician at Grabs Hospital and obtained the title of specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in 1997. In 2000, I began my work as a senior consultant and attending physician at Grabs Hospital, a position I held until the end of 2022. In parallel, since 2000 I have run my own practice together with my husband Gilbert on Grünaustrasse in Buchs.
