• Back surgery, including lumbar, thoracic and cervical pathologies such as herniated discs, spinal canal stenosis, chronic pain and vertebral instability. This expertise is also based on a minimally invasive approach, aimed at limiting surgical aggression, preserving anatomical structures and promoting rapid recovery. It draws on his fellowship as a neurosurgeon at the CHUV Spinal Unit, complementing and consolidating the training acquired at the CHU de Bicêtre Paris-Sud -national reference center for spinal cord tumors and rare vertebral malformations - as well as at the CHU de Lille, with a particular focus on minimally invasive spinal and neuro-oncological surgery.
• Cranial microsurgery, in particular for brain tumors, using cutting-edge techniques such as neuromonitoring, as well as other neurosurgical pathologies including subdural hematoma andhydrocephalus. This activity is part of an approach focused on the precision of the surgical gesture and the preservation of neurological functions. Between 2022 and 2025, he was responsible for multidisciplinary consultation on brain metastases at the CHUV, in close collaboration with Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology, to ensure integrated, personalized management in line with international recommendations.
• Use of radio-neurosurgery, a minimally invasive technique, to treat certain intracranial lesions without incision, significantly reducing post-operative risks and enabling a rapid return to daily life. This internationally recognized approach is based on research into minimally invasive techniques, with the primary aim of improving treatment safety, patient comfort and long-term functional results.
