PD Dr. med. Rositsa Neumann

PD Dr. med. Rositsa Neumann is a specialist in neurology FMH. She is head of the outpatient clinic for epilepsy and specializes in the fields of electroencephalography, epileptology and sleep medicine.

Ms. Neumann completed her medical studies in 2000 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where she subsequently obtained her specialist title in neurology in 2005. From 2005 she worked as a research physician at the Department of Neurology, University Hospital Zurich, from 2009 as an assistant physician and from 2012 as a senior physician. From 2017 to 2019, she was Deputy Head of the Departments of Epilepsy and Electroencephalography and Sleep Medicine. In addition, she has always been scientifically active, including as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago in 2007. She has published in renowned journals and was finally awarded the Venia Legendi for Neurology by the University of Zurich (2015). Rositsa Neumann holds the SGKN certificates in electroencephalography EEG and sleep medicine SGSSC. Most recently she worked at Zentrum für Schlafmedizin AG (2019-2023).
