Valko completed his training as a clinical neurologist in Zurich, Lugano and St. Petersburg. Before taking over the management of the newly founded Center for Sleep and Stress Medicine at the Hirslanden Clinic in 01/2022, PD Dr. med. P. Valko worked for more than 10 years as a senior physician (most recently senior physician meV) at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Zurich. In addition, he has always been active in science, including a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard University in Boston, USA. He is the author of numerous scientific papers in renowned journals, cooperates with various international partners and completed his habilitation at the University of Zurich in 2015.
