PD Dr. med. univ. Andreas Lutterotti

PD Andreas Lutterotti completed his training as a specialist in neurology at the Department of Neurology at the Medical University of Innsbruck. During his training, he spent a research stay at the Institute for Neuroimmunology and Clinical MS Research at the University of Hamburg. After a period as a senior physician, he was awarded an assistant professorship at the Medical University of Innsbruck and was appointed to an assistant professorship at the University of Zurich in 2014. At the same time, he headed the neurological day clinic, the cerebrospinal fluid laboratory and, later, the neuroimmunology consultation at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Zurich. His clinical focus is on neuroimmunological diseases and multiple sclerosis. From his research focus on experimental therapies, the company Cellerys was founded, which is developing a new therapy for MS and which he supervises in a leading role.

Since 2021, he has been Head Physician at the Neurozentrum Bellevue and the Hirslanden Neurology Clinic. He is a member of the Swiss and European neurological societies.
