### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr Philippe Temperli is an FMH specialist in neurology. He diagnoses, treats and monitors diseases of the nervous system, with particular expertise in movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, memory disorders and cerebrovascular pathologies.
After graduating in medicine in 1993, he obtained his doctorate in medicine from the Lausanne Faculty of Medicine in 2003, before obtaining his FMH specialist title in neurology in 2004. During his training at the CHUV and the HUG, he developed in-depth skills in the management of Parkinson's disease and abnormal movements, notably as part of the CHUV's Parkinson's surgery program. He is also involved in the management of strokes in specialized units at the HUG, and has acquired expertise in behavioral neurology through his work in neurorehabilitation.
His career has led him to deepen his knowledge of epileptology, neurorehabilitation and the management of neurodegenerative diseases, notably during his work as a senior physician at the Klinik Bethesda in Tschugg. He is also interested in cognitive disorders, sleep disorders and complex neurological problems requiring a multidisciplinary approach.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr Philippe Temperli has been a consultant at the Centre mémoire de la Côte since 2011, a registered physician at the Leenaards Memory Centre in Lausanne and a consultant at the Centre lausannois de médecine du sommeil. He also sees patients on an outpatient basis at the Morges Hospital site.
