__Dr. Bettina Jerosch is a specialist in neurology FMH with a focus on peripheral neuropathies, spinal cord diseases, neuromuscular diseases, Parkinson's disease, gait and movement disorders and neuropathic pain.__
She holds the SGKN certificates of competence for electroencephalography (EEG), electroneuromyography (ENMG), cerebrovascular diseases and the SGSS diploma (pain therapy according to pain mechanism). She is also a certified medical assessor (SIM).
Dr. Bettina Jerosch studied medicine at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (Germany). She completed her specialist training at the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (Prof. U. Büttner, Prof. K. Nedeltchev), in the Neuromuscular Consultation Department of the Cantonal Hospital Lucerne (Prof. E. Wilder-Smith), in the Epileptology Department of the Bethesda Clinic in Tschugg (PD Dr. M. Hauf) and in the Neurorehabilitation Department of the Adelheid Clinic in Unterägeri (Dr. M. Pöttig). Most recently, she worked for many years at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich. There, in addition to the consultation hours for general neurology, she also worked as an instructor in the ENMG additional training to obtain the certificate of competence according to SGKN. She also held consultations for complex pain patients with questions on the differential diagnosis of central disorders versus disorders due to spinal pathologies and peripheral causes with neurological second opinions before and after spinal surgery.
