She completed her medical studies in both Romania and Germany. She began her specialist training at the Centre hospitalier de Luxembourg in Luxembourg. In 2016, she moved to Switzerland, where she initially worked for a year in adult psychiatry at the University Hospital of Geneva. She then continued her neurological training at Inselspital Bern.
Since September 2023, Dr. Popa-Todirenchi has been working as a senior physician at the Neurozentrum Aarau.
She specializes in general neurology, neurovascular diseases, functional neurological disorders, headaches and peripheral nerve diseases (carpal tunnel syndrome and other bottleneck syndromes, polyneuropathies, degenerative spinal diseases)
