Dr. Erietta Polychronopoulou

Dr. Erietta Polychronopoulou is an FMH specialist in internal medicine and nephrology.

Nephrology is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease, hypertension and electrolyte disorders. It also includes the care of patients requiring dialysis or kidney transplantation.

Graduating in medicine from theUniversity of Thessaly (Greece) in 2012, Dr Polychronopoulou obtained her FMH specialist title in general internal medicine in 2018 atLarissa University Hospital. Winner of the Porphyrogenis Fellowship, she conducted research on hypertension at CHUV, in the Nephrology and Hypertension Service. In 2022, she completed her FMH degree in nephrology.

Between 2022 and 2024, she worked as Assistant Clinical Head of Nephrology at theHôpital du Valais (Sion) and at the CHUV Organ Transplant Center. Since 2024, she has held the position of Clinical Head in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at CHUV in Lausanne.

She now practices within the EHC network in Renens, as physician in charge of the NEDOL Dialysis Center, and provides outpatient nephrology consultation at the NEDOL Medical Center.
