### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr Roberto Bullani is an FMH specialist in general internal medicine and nephrology. He is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of kidney disease, as well as the care of patients requiring specialized management of renal failure or replacement therapy such as dialysis.
Thanks to his dual specialization, he has in-depth expertise in the management of acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders and complications associated with impaired renal function. His practice also includes the follow-up of patients requiring specialized nephrological assessment and long-term support.
Since 2010, Dr Bullani has been the physician in charge of the Centre de dialyse de la Côte, where he coordinates the care of patients requiring dialysis treatment. His approach is based on personalized follow-up and close collaboration with the various professionals involved in the care of people with kidney disease.
In addition to his clinical activities, he has been Head of the Nephrology Department at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) since 2008. His professional career has taken him to several hospitals in Switzerland and North America, enabling him to acquire a wide range of experience in the field of nephrology. He is also involved in medical research and is the author of numerous scientific publications.
