Ms Silvia Bättig 

Born in 1969, my path led me from training as a kindergarten teacher, through several years of working in kindergartens and traveling, to the midwifery school in St. Gallen, where I was able to learn my current profession. A true vocation, which still brings me joy and fulfillment after many years.

At home in Gams with my three adult children, I work part-time in the delivery ward at Grabs Hospital. Since 2002, I have been supporting families between Sargans and Oberrüti before and after childbirth, providing pregnancy check-ups and postpartum care at their homes.

Since autumn 2021, I have been working at the Gynorina practice, where I alternately carry out pregnancy check-ups together with the medical team. In a normally progressing pregnancy, you will see me around the 18th, 27th, and 35th week. During these appointments, we take plenty of time to answer your questions and, if needed, treat discomforts with acupuncture, taping, or acupressure massage.
