Dr. Ciro Barberio, Ph.D., graduated in clinical psychology from the European campus of the University of San Diego in California, where he also earned his doctorate.
He also holds diplomas in behavior therapy from the University of Giessen in Germany, in hypnosis from C.I.S.S.P.A.T. in Padua, and in autogenic psychotherapies from various institutions.
In 1989, he obtained diplomas in group leadership and Neoreichian sciences from the Wilhelm Reich Institute in Lugano.
In 1992, the International Society for Holistic Health in London awarded him diplomas in bioenergetic sciences and brief psychotherapies.
He also earned a diploma as a community leader from the I.T.F. in Mantua and a second-level diploma in existential Logotherapy from Viktor Frankl.
Since 1986, he has been practicing naturopathy in Switzerland. He is a member of the NVS and EMR associations of Swiss naturalistic doctors and the APsI (Italian Psychologists Association).
He is an instructor of Autogenic Training at the Migros Club School in Lugano, Mendrisio, and Bellinzona.
In 1986, he founded the Ticino Center for Relaxation Techniques, which he still directs today.
