We diagnose and treat disorders of the immune system—from common allergies to rare immune diseases. We take the time to explain your test results in a way that’s easy to understand and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. ## Allergies We treat all forms of allergies: - Hay fever and allergic rhinitis, including cases with nasal polyps - Allergic asthma - Food allergies - Drug allergies - Insect venom allergies (bees and wasps) - Hives (urticaria) and swelling (angioedema) - Neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis) - Mast cell disorders - Evaluation following severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) __Diagnosis and treatment:__ skin tests (prick tests), lung function tests, measurement of nitric oxide in exhaled air (eNO), provocation tests, and desensitization (hyposensitization) using tablets or injections. In severe cases, we specifically use modern biologics (antibody therapies). ## Autoimmune Diseases In autoimmune diseases, the immune system attacks the body’s own tissues. We specialize in: - Systemic autoimmune diseases such as lupus (SLE) and Sjögren’s syndrome - Vascular inflammation (vasculitis of small and large blood vessels) - Inflammatory muscle diseases (myositis) - Antiphospholipid syndrome - Sarcoidosis and other granulomatous diseases ## Inflammation (autoinflammation) Some inflammatory conditions occur without infection or allergy. We investigate unexplained episodes of fever and recurrent inflammation: - Periodic fever syndromes - Behçet’s disease - Still’s disease - SAPHO syndrome - Recurrent pericarditis ## Immune Deficiency (Immunodeficiencies) Frequent, unusual, or severe infections may indicate an immune deficiency. We investigate congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies (antibody deficiency, disorders of immune cells) and support you throughout your treatment. ## Rare Immune Disorders (Rare Diseases) Many diseases of the immune system are rare—and are therefore often diagnosed late.
