Dr. Gertraud Eylert 

The practice of Dr. med. univ. Gertraud Eylert, MSc, PhD, FEBOPRAS in Zurich specializes in the treatment of burns, complex scars, and burn-related complications in adults and children. The focus is on functional restoration and natural aesthetic correction of the skin.

As a federally certified specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Eylert treats burned and scarred skin—ranging from acute burns and their intensive care to complex scars resulting from accidents, surgeries, or other injuries, as well as keloids. Depending on the findings, minimally invasive or surgical procedures may be considered for functional and aesthetic skin restoration.

Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery focuses, among other things, on restoring form and function following injuries, burns, diseases, or surgical procedures. The practice’s range of treatments also includes specialized skin analyses, long-term follow-up care, as well as medical evaluations and second opinions.

Dr. Eylert’s training and clinical-scientific work have taken her to specialized centers in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Austria, and Switzerland. These include institutions specializing in burn medicine, cell therapy, skin and stem cell research, keloid treatment, scar regeneration, and aesthetic reconstruction. When necessary, patient care is supplemented through collaboration with a national and international network of specialized professionals from various disciplines.

• Master of Science in Regenerative Medicine (MSc)

Consultations are available in person in Zurich as well as via secure online consultations using Swiss Data Secure Solutions. Online appointments are available on Mondays and Tuesdays; in-person appointments are available on Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday. Upon individual request, appointments during off-peak hours outside of regular business hours are also possible.

Medically indicated treatments can be billed through basic or accident insurance. Aesthetic treatments and procedures are offered as self-pay services.
