About the practice

I grew up in Lenzerheide, and I have always felt extremely comfortable in this area. It has always been my dream to practise my profession in my home region. Being able to live here with my family and work as a doctor is both a “great fortune” and a huge motivation – even in times when the role of the general practitioner is subject to many unwanted and economically challenging changes.

I took over the practice from Dr M. A. Durband at Hauptstrasse 31 in Lenzerheide on 1 May 2004. After thirteen years, on 1 May 2017, we were able to move into new, even more centrally located premises. With this move, another dream came true.

In 2020, I was pleased to welcome Dr. med. Raphaela Hausammann to the team as a general practitioner. After working as an assistant doctor in my practice in 2013/2014, she has now returned as a highly qualified physician. In addition, Dr. Hausammann holds a Master of Science in Stroke Medicine. One of her special interests is sonography (ultrasound examinations), which we are now also able to offer.
