Neurology deals with diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles as well as complaints such as headaches, movement disorders, memory problems and dizziness. At the Neurocenter St. Gallen, patients are cared for according to the latest scientific findings and monitored by experienced neurologists. The range of services includes the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, stroke and polyneuropathies. In addition, complaints such as movement disorders, tremor, balance and coordination disorders, dizziness, sensory disorders, muscle weakness, back and neck pain, memory and word-finding disorders, facial pain, paralysis as well as speech, language and swallowing disorders are comprehensively clarified. Other areas of focus include geriatric neurology, memory and cognition assessments, the treatment of sleep disorders in old age, neurological check-ups, sports neurology and neurological pain therapies. Botulinum toxin therapies are also offered for neurological indications. Thanks to the collaboration with the __Bellevue Medical Group__ and the __Hirslanden Zurich Neurology Clinic__, patients benefit from a broad neurological network and coordinated outpatient and inpatient care.
