Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. These include multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, strokes, polyneuropathies, headaches and migraines. Movement disorders, balance and coordination problems, dizziness, sensory disorders, muscle weakness, back and neck pain, memory disorders, facial pain as well as speech, language and swallowing disorders are also part of the treatment spectrum. A particular concern of the center is the prompt allocation of appointments and the rapid clarification of acute neurological complaints.
