The practice features modern, well-lit treatment and consultation rooms that provide a calm environment for examinations, personal consultations, and outpatient procedures. __Urology__ deals with diseases and functional disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra in both women and men. In men, the field also covers the prostate and the male reproductive organs. In addition to treating acute symptoms, urology includes preventive screenings, the diagnosis of urological cancers, and care for functional and hormonal disorders. The practice’s areas of specialization include, among others, the evaluation and treatment of __an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia), prostate cancer, kidney and bladder tumors, kidney and urinary tract stones, bladder emptying disorders, bladder infections, prostatitis, and urethral infections__. The practice also treats __blood in the urine, incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, and skin changes in the genital area__. Other areas of focus include men’s health. This encompasses the examination and treatment of __erectile dysfunction, loss of libido, testosterone deficiency, and hypogonadism, as well as testicular pain, testicular tumors, hydrocele, varicocele, phimosis, and penile cancer__. In addition __, urological screening exams, prostate procedures, and vasectomies__ are offered.
