He treats patients with medical massage therapies for musculoskeletal disorders and supports them in rehabilitation as well as in improving their physical performance. Medical massage encompasses various therapeutic treatment methods to alleviate pain, muscle tension, and functional complaints. Depending on the individual’s specific symptoms, treatments may include manual lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, or electrotherapy. The goal of treatment is to improve mobility, promote recovery, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Jürg Wenger has many years of professional experience in medical massage and sports therapy. Since 2002, he has run his own specialized practice for physical therapy and sports therapy, and he has been working as a medical massage therapist at INTEGRI Thun since 2018. Previously, he worked with, among others, the Swiss national cross-country skiing team, the Swiss national ski jumping team, and the Canadian national ice hockey team at the Spengler Cup. In addition, he has worked at various medical centers and hospitals.
