## Welcome to Massage-Piaget
## In Malleray or Biel
I offer massages and treatments at my __practice in Malleray__ (BE) and at the __SanaCenter fitness center in Biel__ (BE). My field of activity and specialization is adults.
I am recognized by complementary health insurances, __ASCA, RME, EGK and Visana__. I advise you to check with your insurance company to see if your insurance covers complementary medicine treatments and under what conditions, if any.
I have been an independent masseur since 2013 and have held the Brevet Fédéral de Masseur Médical since 2016, as well as being a member of the Association Suisse des Masseur Médicaux.
Since 2024, I have had a practice permit validated by the cantonal physician. (2024 is the year in which the canton of Berne recognized the BF masseur as a health practitioner, which was already validated at federal level long before).
For me, medical massage means:
A global or targeted use of all the means of treatment at the masseur's disposal for the purpose of care. All the while drawing on bio-medical knowledge.
The methods I use are as follows:
- Medical massage / classical massage / sports massage/
- Manual lymphatic drainage
- Therapeutic foot reflexology
- Connective tissue massage
- Dorn / Breuss massage
- Cupping medicine according to Daniel Henry
- Chinese medicine massage
- Hydrotherapy advice, electrotherapy advice, muscular strengthening and stretching exercises.
In addition, I have acquired bio-medical knowledge through a 4-year physiotherapy training course (without diploma) at the Lausanne VD physiotherapy school.
