This is now possible with new generation lenses that allow for good vision both at distance and near. The Medimi Studio consists of a cohesive team with over twenty years of collaboration in both Lugano and Milan and operates at the Sant'Anna Clinic in Sorengo. At the studio, the following services are available: - Eye examinations - Pediatric eye examinations - Orthoptic evaluations for children and adults in cases of strabismus or paresis with diplopia - Diagnostic tests for corneal diseases, retinal diseases, or glaucoma, such as: OCT (for the retina and optic nerve in glaucoma evaluation), angiographic OCT of the retina and optic nerve, fundus photography, ocular biometry (for both cataract surgery and evaluating the increase in axial length in children wearing defocus lenses), corneal topography, endothelial biomicroscopy, visual field tests, and pachymetry.
