### Presentation of the healthcare professional
The lymphatic system, the vascular system, and the meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) belong to different theoretical frameworks, but all place particular emphasis on internal circulation, transport, and the body’s overall balance.
My background combines training in Traditional Chinese Medicine with various traditional Chinese practices and lymphatic drainage. I combine the Vodder Lymphatic Drainage Method with meridian therapy to achieve better results in treating:
- __Mild edema and swelling__: particularly in the legs, ankles, or arms.
- __The sensation of heavy legs after prolonged sitting or standing__: by promoting fluid drainage.
- __Lymphedema following surgery or in certain specific situations__: with the doctor’s approval and performed by a trained professional, it can be part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
- __Localized fluid retention in the tissues__
- __Muscle tension and feelings of fatigue__
- __Facial swelling in the context of aesthetic treatments__
Depending on individual needs and goals, various traditional Chinese techniques may also be offered during the session:
- __Cupping__
- __Moxibustion__
- __Gua Sha__
- __Tuina__
- __Acupuncture__
- __Aculifting__
Starting with the very first session, some people may experience a __feeling of lightness__ and notice a reduction in swelling.
During or after the session, you may also feel __a stronger urge to urinate__, which may simply be due to a temporary change in how your body eliminates fluids.
Some people may also notice, the next day, that their __urine is more concentrated or darker in color__. However, the color and odor of urine can vary depending on hydration, diet, and other factors. It is therefore recommended to __stay well-hydrated after the session__.
