Photobiomodulation acts primarily on mitochondria by promoting the production of ATP, a molecule essential for cellular function. These mechanisms are involved in tissue repair processes, inflammation regulation, and functional recovery. Its use is based on precise parameters (wavelength, energy delivered, duration, and frequency of sessions), tailored to each clinical situation.
The practice is equipped with photobiomodulation devices that combine __medical LEDs and cold, nano-pulsed lasers__. This technology allows for treatment of deeper tissues than LED devices intended for aesthetic use and can be integrated into the management of various medical conditions.
Photobiomodulation is used in various contexts, particularly to help treat:
