Trained as a socio-cultural organizer, I have now been working for over 25 years in group and individual support with people of all ages and profiles (children, teenagers, adults and senior citizens). Thanks to kinesiology, which has enriched both my personal and professional life, this support has taken on a different meaning. For me, it's a great asset - and a real choice - to work as a kinesiologist and social worker at the same time. __How did kinesiology come into my life?__ As the mother of two children who are now teenagers, I turned to complementary therapies when I was looking for answers and meaning in the face of the difficulties encountered during their first years of life. That's how I discovered kinesiology. The support of this approach and its real benefits, both for my own personal development and that of my family, led me to train in this practice... with the initial idea of sharing it with my friends and family. Then, as the three rich and intense years of training progressed, it seemed an obvious and logical next step to offer my support more widely, thanks to this approach to therapeutic accompaniment. __What is kinesiology?__ It's a complementary mind-body therapy, based on a holistic approach. This means that it acts on both the psyche and the body, while taking into consideration the individual as a whole (his or her physical, mental, emotional and energetic dimensions). Kinesiology aims to achieve a state of well-being. It is not a diagnosis, nor does it replace medical or psychological advice or treatment. It is complementary to any other approach and can be carried out in parallel. __Who is kinesiology for?__ Anyone, without restriction, who : \- wishes to work on difficulties in their life (e.g. pathology, pain, stress, anxiety, fears, repetitive patterns, emotional suffering, sleep problems, etc.) \- wish to improve an aspect of their life (e.g. physical or mental performance, communication, relationships, etc.) __How does the kinesiologist work?__ Your session is yours, a real moment for you! With kindness, respect and non-judgment, I accompany you in the search for and identification of the origin of your blockages and/or obstacles, in relation to the theme being addressed. This work of shedding light and finding meaning can only be achieved with your collaboration and investment. The blockages that prevent you from achieving your goal will then be released using the various mind-body rebalancing techniques we have learned. A new circulation of energy will then take place in your body, promoting self-regulation and activating its self-healing potential. Work is always carried out with your clothes on and, in principle, lying on the massage table. __How does a session work?__ First, I'll help you identify the theme you want to work on and formulate it into a session objective. Then, using the muscle test (a kinesiologist's specific tool which consists of applying light pressure to the forearm), I'll identify the conscious or unconscious stresses linked to your objective. This test, which enables a direct dialogue with the body (access to its cellular memory), will guide us throughout the session in the search for relevant information and balancing to be carried out in the present moment. __What's the aim of the session__? To reduce your stress in the face of the issue at hand, which generally allows you to see your situation in a different light. This encourages the emergence of new solutions, courses of action or decisions to help you achieve your personal goal.
