### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr. Julia Christina Natterer is an FMH-certified specialist in paediatrics and intensive care medicine. She graduated from the University of Lausanne in 2002 and completed her postgraduate training at CHUV, working in various departments such as paediatrics, neonatology, paediatric cardiology, anaesthesia, and intensive care. She became an FMH specialist in paediatric intensive care in 2016.
Since then, she has worked as a senior physician at CHUV, dividing her time between paediatric intensive care and intermediate care units. She oversees patient management, supports medical teams, and contributes to quality improvement processes, including ISO certification initiatives.
She has also taken part in humanitarian missions in Africa, including in Benin and Mozambique, where she was involved in paediatric and paediatric cardiac surgery support.
She currently consults at the Permanence pédiatrique Nord-Sud.
