Dr. Philippe Cuénod 

Dr. Philippe Cuénod is an FMH specialist in Surgery and FMH specialist in Hand Surgery. He obtained his medical degree in 1980 from the Faculty of Medicine in Lausanne and trained in general surgery and hand surgery at several Swiss institutions, including CHUV in Lausanne, Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg, and Inselspital in Bern.

Hand surgery is a medical specialty dedicated to the treatment of traumatic, degenerative, and congenital conditionsaffecting the hand and wrist. It includes the management of fractures, ligament injuries, rheumatic diseases, and post-traumatic reconstructions.

Dr. Cuénod has served as Chief of Clinic at the Hand Surgery Unit of Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and at Inselspital in Bern. He has also participated in humanitarian missions in general and war surgery with the ICRC and GICAM in Asia and Africa.
