Dr. med. (I) O. Mahnic General Internal Medicine


Dr. Mahnič grew up in Koper on the Slovenian coast and completed his medical studies at the University of Trieste, Italy.

His specialist training first took him to Austria, then to Germany and finally to Switzerland.

He gained extensive clinical experience in the fields of pneumology, cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, infectiology and emergency and intensive care medicine.

Most recently, he worked at Triemli City Hospital and Zurich University Hospital. In October 2024, he successfully completed his specialist training in general internal medicine.

Dr. Mahnic decided to work in general medicine so that he could apply all of his specialist knowledge on a daily basis. He joined the team in March 2025.
