Dipl. med. Eva Akermann 

Dipl. med. Eva Akermann is a specialist in general internal medicine and has been working at the Karlihof Medical Center in Malans since 2025. She treats patients with acute illnesses, chronic complaints and preventive healthcare and places particular emphasis on personal and long-term support from a general practitioner.

General internal medicine, also known as family medicine, covers basic medical care for adults. This includes preventive check-ups, vaccinations, the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and the care of people with chronic health problems. GPs also coordinate further examinations and accompany their patients over many years.

Eva Akermann's main areas of treatment include health checks and preventive examinations, flu vaccinations, the treatment of flu and colds as well as the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infections and bladder infections. She also carries out follow-up checks and removes stitches and staples after surgical procedures.

After studying medicine at the universities of Fribourg and Bern, she completed her further training in the hospitals of Thusis, Grabs and St. Gallen as well as in family medicine in Graubünden. She also gained professional experience as a research assistant in rheumatology at Inselspital Bern. She has been working as a GP in the canton of Graubünden since 2021 and provides her patients with holistic and continuous care.
