Dipl. med. Madleina Gujan 

Madleina Gujan is a specialist in general internal medicine and works at the Karlihof Medical Center in Malans. She looks after patients in primary care and assists them with acute complaints, chronic illnesses and issues relating to prevention and preventive healthcare.

General internal medicine, also known as family medicine, includes comprehensive medical care for adults. This includes preventive check-ups, vaccinations, the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses as well as long-term support for chronic health problems. GPs are often the first point of contact for medical concerns and coordinate further investigations and treatment if necessary.

Madleina Gujan's specialties include health checks and check-ups, flu vaccinations, the treatment of urinary tract infections and bladder infections as well as the care and control of wounds. She also performs the removal of stitches and staples after operations as well as level 1 medical check-ups.

After studying medicine at the Universities of Fribourg and Basel, she completed her further training in various specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, geriatrics, pneumology, nephrology and angiology. She gained additional experience in several GP practices as a practice assistant. From 2022 to 2024, she was Medical Director of the Klosters Medical Center before taking up her position at the Karlihof Medical Center in 2024.
