About me

My name is Helga Goldann and I am pleased to accompany you as a patient. I was born and raised in Lörrach, in the border triangle near Basel. Since studying medicine at the University of Heidelberg, I have worked in various clinics in orthopedics, rheumatology, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine.

The diversity of my medical fields has shaped my holistic understanding of health and disease. Alongside my work, I completed several years of training in depth-psychological psychotherapy at an institute of the University of Würzburg. In addition to the standard therapies of evidence-based medicine, I have also studied and practiced various complementary medical treatment methods throughout my career. After 11 years of independent work in a large rural medical practice in Germany – combining body-oriented treatments, a broad holistic spectrum, and psychotherapy – I was able, after family changes, to fulfill a childhood dream: to live and work in Switzerland with new professional challenges.

The Christian values of grace, gratitude, acceptance, and love of neighbor shape my thinking and actions. For me, as a person and physician, it is essential to be present for each individual in their wholeness, uniqueness, and needs.

2001 Board certification in general medicine

2006–2008 Employed specialist in general medicine

2008–2019 Independent general practitioner in a group practice with additional qualifications recognized by the German Medical Association:

naturopathy, chiropractic, emergency medicine, and psychotherapy

2020 Specialist physician at the Clinic Bad Ragaz with focus on neurological, musculoskeletal, and oncological rehabilitation medicine
