Career

Born, raised and studied medicine in Vienna.

Medical training in a major hospital in Burgenland, comparable to the Cantonal Hospital in Chur.

Training in general medicine and emergency medicine.

Began trauma surgery training, interrupted due to family break (4 ½ years), afterwards:

Specialist training in anesthesiology and intensive care, chief emergency physician.

Most recent position: senior physician in anesthesia/intensive care, integrated into the ground-based emergency system.

2008 Emigrated to Switzerland for love.

Senior physician in anesthesia, Davos Hospital.

Training: certificate of competence in TCM acupuncture (Universities of Zurich/Bern).

2011 Joined the practice for holistic medicine of Dr. med. Wolfgang Rohrer, Klosters (my husband).

September 2022 Closure of the practice due to illness and retirement of my husband.

Since 01.12.2022 Continuing general practice at the Medical Center Karlihof.

About me

I live with my husband in Klosters.

My two adult children no longer live with us, but they also reside in Switzerland.

The decision to move to Switzerland was one of the best of my life – I have never regretted it for a second!

Vienna still holds a special place in my heart, but I brought my soul here with me.

I am not a nostalgic Austrian and since 2018 I have been a Swiss citizen – a very conscious and well-considered decision.
