Dr. med. Elisabeth Rohrer 

Dr. Elisabeth Rohrer is a general practitioner and works at the Karlihof Medical Center in Malans. She treats patients across the entire spectrum of family medicine and combines her many years of clinical experience with a holistic approach to treatment.

Family medicine (general medicine) encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. GPs are the first point of contact for health complaints, carry out preventive check-ups and provide long-term support for their patients. They also coordinate further medical examinations and provide support with complex health issues.

Dr. Elisabeth Rohrer's main areas of expertise include health checks and preventive examinations, the treatment of flu and colds as well as the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infections and bladder infections. She also offers wound checks, the removal of stitches and staples as well as comprehensive GP care for various health concerns. Her special areas of interest include pain therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture and advice on bioidentical hormone therapies.

After studying medicine in Vienna, Dr. Elisabeth Rohrer completed her training as a general practitioner and emergency doctor as well as her specialist training in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine. She worked as a senior emergency physician and senior physician in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine before moving to Switzerland in 2008. After working as a senior physician at Davos Hospital, she worked in a practice for holistic medicine in Klosters. She has been working at the Karlihof Medical Center since the end of 2022.
