Dr. med. Agnes Katharina Knapp-Reitinger 

Dr. med. Agnes Katharina Knapp-Reitinger is a general practitioner and works at the Karlihof Medical Center in Malans. She looks after patients in primary care and assists them with acute complaints, chronic illnesses and questions relating to prevention and preventive healthcare.

Family medicine (general medicine) includes comprehensive medical care for adults and older people. This includes preventive check-ups, health checks, vaccinations, the treatment of acute illnesses and long-term support for chronic health problems. GPs also coordinate further investigations and support their patients in all matters relating to basic medical care.

Dr. Agnes Katharina Knapp-Reitinger's main areas of expertise include preventive medical check-ups and health checks, the treatment of flu and colds, the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infections and the care of wounds. She also carries out wound checks, the removal of stitches and staples as well as level 1 traffic medical check-ups for drivers aged 75 and over.

After studying human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, she completed her clinical training at Feldkirch Regional Hospital and obtained the Austrian ius practicandi. She then worked for several years in GP practices in Austria and Switzerland. She has been working as a GP at the Karlihof Medical Center since 2018. She also has further training in emergency medicine, sonography and acupuncture.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. med. Agnes Katharina Knapp-Reitinger has been involved in various scientific projects in the field of emergency medicine, anaesthesia and ultrasound diagnostics as well as in university research at medical institutions in Vienna.
