Dr. med. univ. Christopher Knapp 

Dr. med. univ. Christopher Knapp is a general practitioner and works at the Maienfeld Medical Center. He looks after patients within the scope of primary care and supports them with acute complaints, chronic illnesses and questions relating to prevention and health care.

Family medicine (general medicine) covers the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of illnesses. GPs are often the first point of contact for health concerns, carry out check-ups and coordinate further medical examinations if necessary. Long-term and personal care is an important part of GP care.

Dr. Christopher Knapp's main areas of treatment include health checks and check-ups, the treatment of flu and colds as well as the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infections and bladder infections. He also carries out wound checks, the removal of stitches and staples and medication reviews. Thanks to his further training in the field of traffic medicine, he also offers traffic medical check-ups.

After studying medicine at the University of Innsbruck, Dr. med. univ. Christopher Knapp completed his training as a general practitioner at Feldkirch Regional Hospital. His clinical training included general surgery, trauma surgery and orthopaedics. He also gained experience in emergency medical care and on humanitarian missions in Guatemala. He has been working as a GP at the Maienfeld Medical Center since 2018.
