### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Dr. Nicolae Petré is a general practitioner at AMiiA, a medical and surgical center located at 19 Rue Centrale, in the heart of Lausanne. After several years of practice in a general medicine practice in France, he joined the clinic’s general internal medicine and family medicine department, where he provides medical care to patients of all ages. __He is accepting new patients.__
His practice covers the full scope of primary care: family medicine care, health screenings and check-ups, blood tests and laboratory analyses (in partnership with Unilabs), management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol, management of acute illnesses and seasonal infections, personalized vaccination advice, medical certificates, and medical examinations for driver’s licenses.
Dr. Petré practices within a multidisciplinary facility that brings together orthopedic and trauma surgery, hand surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, visceral surgery, dermatology, gynecology, and nutrition. This structure allows patients to be quickly referred to the appropriate specialist when necessary, without any disruption to their care pathway. Medical services are covered by the LAMal and supplemental insurance plans.
The practice is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., just a stone’s throw from Place de la Riponne and the Flon district, and is easily accessible by public transportation from anywhere in the Lausanne metropolitan area.
