__About me__
I was born in Czechoslovakia and lived in Brno (Czech Republic today), where I live with my wife and our two adult sons, who are still studying. After an intensive period of training and specialization, it was a long-standing wish of mine to work as a physician in Switzerland. For many years, I have had close ties to Switzerland, where I have found very good friends, and I am delighted to serve the people of the beautiful Bündner Herrschaft. I diligently practice my German (standard) with the goal of one day speaking real “Bündnerdütsch” with you.
I am often asked what the “MU” in MUDr. stands for. The Czech academic degree of Doctor of Medicine (*medicinae universae doctor*) is abbreviated MUDr. and is awarded after six years of medical studies. This degree is equivalent to the Swiss Dr. med.
