Dr. med. Tobias Bhend 

Dr. med. Tobias Bhend is a specialist in general internal medicine and works at the Bonaduz Medical Center and the Scaletta Medical Center in Chur. He treats adolescents, adults and the elderly for acute complaints, chronic illnesses and issues relating to preventive healthcare and disease prevention.

General internal medicine, also known as family medicine, covers comprehensive basic medical care. This includes preventive check-ups, vaccinations, the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, the care of chronic illnesses and the coordination of further medical examinations. Dr. Tobias Bhend accompanies his patients on a long-term basis and offers individual care in various health situations.

His special areas of interest include sports and exercise medicine, sonography and emergency medicine. He also carries out level 1 and 2 traffic medical check-ups. Frequent reasons for consultations include flu and colds, flu vaccinations, check-ups and the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infections and cystitis.

Dr. Tobias Bhend completed his clinical training in numerous medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, ear, nose and throat medicine, dermatology, geriatrics, paediatrics, gynaecology, psychiatry and emergency medicine. Prior to his current position, he worked as a senior physician at Aarau Cantonal Hospital, at the Praxiszentrum am Bahnhof and at the interdisciplinary emergency ward of Lucerne Cantonal Hospital. He has been a GP and site manager at the Bonaduz Medical Center since 2022 and has also been a GP at the Scaletta Medical Center in Chur since 2024.
