Dipl. med. Nicole Ruoss 

Nicole Rita Ruoss, M.D., is a general practitioner working at the Doktorhuus practice in Bachenbülach. She cares for patients with acute symptoms, general health concerns, and as part of ongoing primary care.

Primary care is the first point of contact for many health concerns. It includes medical consultation and examination for new, recurring, or long-standing symptoms, the diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, as well as preventive screenings and check-ups. Supporting people with chronic illnesses and coordinating follow-up treatments are also part of primary care.

Depending on the patient’s health situation, we can investigate issues such as infections, cardiovascular risk factors, respiratory or digestive system symptoms, and abnormal lab results. If additional diagnostic tests or specialized treatment are required, Dr. Nicole Ruoss coordinates the next medical steps and referrals to appropriate specialists.

Nicole Ruoss completed her medical studies at the University of Zurich’s Faculty of Medicine. She also has clinical experience in internal medicine and emergency medicine. Most recently, she worked as a senior physician in internal medicine and subsequently in the emergency department at Winterthur Cantonal Hospital.

Thanks to her certification in in-office laboratory testing, selected laboratory tests can be performed directly in the general practice and promptly incorporated into the medical evaluation.
