Dr. med. Alexander Braun is an FMH specialist in gastroenterology and surgery with broad clinical and scientific experience. He founded the Gastroenterology Center inovis in Biel in 2021, where he cares for patients across the entire spectrum of gastroenterological and visceral surgical diagnostics and therapy. Dr. Braun also holds specialist qualifications in internal medicine, visceral surgery and proctology, as well as an additional qualification in emergency medicine and a certificate of competence for practice laboratories according to KHM standards. Before working in Biel, he held management positions at renowned clinics, including the University Hospital Basel and the University Hospital Freiburg (DE). He is a member of several specialist associations and speaks German, French and English.
