Dr. Mohammed Barigou 

Dr Mohammed Barigou is an FMH specialist in endocrinology, diabetology and metabolic diseases. He consults at the Centre Médical & Thérapeutique de La Lignière, on the Gland and Crissier sites.

After a career in hospital and university, notably at the Toulouse University Hospital and then as head of clinic at the AP-HP, he joined the CHUV as a senior physician, responsible for the specialized Lipids, Nutrition and Metabolism consultation.

He holds European certifications in lipidology (European Atherosclerosis Society) and is recognized as a specialist in hypertension by the European Society of Hypertension (ESH).

Dr. Barigou's areas of specialization include:

- lipid metabolism disorders (including familial hypercholesterolemia)

- arterial hypertension, particularly of endocrine origin

- adrenal pathologies

- assessment and management of cardiometabolic risk

- general endocrinology (thyroid, pituitary, parathyroid, gonads)

- diabetology, including glucose sensor monitoring (CGM)

- obesity and associated metabolic diseases, including treatment with GLP-1 analogues

He works in close collaboration with the center's medical and therapeutic teams, to provide coordinated, specialized, patient-centered care.
