### Presentation of the healthcare professional
I have been working as a physician for over 14 years and have a clear vision of how I want to care for my patients. As a dedicated doctor with high standards for humanity and quality, it is often difficult to stay true to one’s ethical compass within today’s healthcare system. I firmly believe we must return to the fundamentals of healthcare and rethink existing structures – using modern technologies and principles from other industries.
My motivation is to actively contribute to the transformation of medicine, particularly at the intersection of IT and healthcare. In my ENT practice in Liestal, I cover the full scope of the specialty (including allergology and sleep medicine), with a special focus on dizziness, hearing issues, and headaches – topics that are, in my view, often overlooked.
I am currently working on an innovative concept for the private practice of the future: interdisciplinary, prevention-focused, digital-first, with an emphasis on outcome-orientation and patient autonomy. Artificial intelligence and medical knowledge databases will play key roles in this approach.
Collaboration across specialties and professions is especially important to me – always with the goal of improving patient care and staying focused amid the noise of financial and political pressures. With my diverse professional background, I am ready to explore new paths and help shape the future of medicine.
