__About Me – Emily Remisz__
I am a medical massage therapist and run the practice "der Massör" in the Breitenrain district of Bern together with Mike Martin.
My philosophy: Health and well-being start within ourselves. My role is to accompany you on that path.
__Career Background:__
- Master's in Business Management & European Law (Kozminski Academy, Warsaw)
- 10 years of experience in international management
- Career change through massage training (graduated in 2015)
- Self-employed in Bern since 2013
- Ongoing advanced training in fascia therapy, manual therapy, yoga & movement
__My Approach__
Movement, mindfulness, and empathy shape my therapeutic work.
I combine well-grounded manual techniques with the healing power of yoga and holistic body awareness.

__Yoga & ZOGA – Movement as a path of development__
Yoga has accompanied me for many years – both privately and professionally.
It strengthens the body and mind, enhances mindfulness, and provides inner stability.
Deepened knowledge through:
- ZOGA Movement – a therapeutic yoga approach combining classical asanas with modern knowledge from anatomy, osteopathy, and physiotherapy
- Application of ZOGA in manual therapy and movement work
__Fascia – The body’s architecture__
Fascia are connective tissue structures that shape and support our body.
They influence our posture, mobility, and even our perception of pain.
Targeted myofascial therapy can help release blockages and improve mobility.
__Areas of Application:__
- Back pain, joint & muscle issues
- Postural problems (e.g., scoliosis, misalignments)
- Jaw tension & tension headaches
- Movement restrictions caused by scars or trauma
- Chronic tension & stress patterns
__Treatment Concept: ATSI – Anatomy Trains Structural Integration__
This fascia method is based on the body’s myofascial meridians.
The goal is to correct and reorganize postural and movement patterns.
__Process:__
- Analysis of individual postural patterns
- Deep tissue treatment with manual therapy
- Active participation of the patient
- Exercises for integration into daily life
- Duration: 3–12 sessions of approximately 90 minutes
