After working at university hospitals in Ulm and Bad Krozingen, he was head of cardiology at Lachen Hospital. Over 1,000 pacemaker implantations and 2,000+ coronary angiographies. Focus on modern diagnostics, prevention and personal doctor-patient relationship. ## __"Cardiac medicine is more than just technology - it requires experience, precision and trust."__ With over 30 years of experience in internal medicine and cardiology, Dr. Christian Steffen stands for sound diagnostics, modern therapy and personal patient care. As a specialist in cardiology, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, he combines medical knowledge with a holistic view of the individual. After studying medicine in Bochum, Bonn and Zurich and completing his doctorate at the University of Zurich, Dr. Steffen gained clinical experience at renowned hospitals such as the University Hospital Ulm and the University Heart Center Bad Krozingen / Freiburg before taking over as Head of Cardiology at Lachen Hospital in 2004. Among other things, he helped to set up the cardiac catheterization laboratory there and has implanted around 1,000 pacemakers to date.
