### Presentation of the healthcare professional
Raised in the canton of Zurich, completed high school (Matura) and studied Human Medicine in Zurich with study stays in London, Hong Kong, Krakow, Paris, and Edinburgh. Subsequently, completed internal medicine training at the Medical Policlinic of the University Hospital Zurich and the Medical Clinic of the Kantonsspital Winterthur. Continued with cardiology training at Stadtspital Triemli Zurich, Kantonsspital Lucerne, and University Hospitals in Zurich and Aachen (Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule, DE).
Concurrently with specialization training, conducted research in the field of coronary artery physiology and hypertension, awarded the Hypertension Prize 1999 by the Swiss Society of Hypertension. Finally, habilitated at the University of Zurich in 2000 in the field of cardiology. From 2000, served as Chief Physician at Stadtspital Triemli and later at Kantonsspital Winterthur, specializing in interventional cardiology (placement of stents in coronary arteries). Awarded titular professorship at the University of Zurich in 2010.
Since November 2021, working at Arzthaus in St. Gallen and Zug.
